Our Counseling Center

Welcome to The Well Resource Center’s Outpatient Counseling Center. The counseling center is dedicated to providing free professional outpatient counseling support services to first responders and their loved ones. Everyone approaches counseling with varying levels of need. Whether you are ready to process the trauma you experienced, you are ready to work on your marriage/relationship, you are ready to figure out how to manage the daily stress and work/life balance in your life, we are here to support and provide services to you.

Our counseling center is staffed with Illinois-licensed professional mental health professionals with extensive experience providing confidential evidenced-based and effective counseling approaches and therapies.

Our therapists have experience and expertise in the following areas: Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Stress Management, Depression, Relationships/Marriage, Work/Life Balance, Parenting, Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders, and Grief & Loss.

Once you’ve completed the intake questionnaire, our Director of Counseling will follow up with you within 48 hours. If you haven’t heard back after 48 hours, please contact Matt Blair at matt@thewellrc.org so we can assist you promptly.

Due to COVID19, we offer counseling via secured, confidential telehealth platforms, and can discuss what options are available for in-person sessions.
