Meet our Clinical Team
Daniel
I have worked with individuals of all ages, ranging from 5 to 60 years old primarily with anxiety, depression and trauma, amongst other issues. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I mainly operate from the ACT theory, often incorporating aspects of Gestalt therapy and CBT with a holistic approach.
I aim to establish a safe and secure setting for any individual during session. The relationship between any client and myself is one of trust and understanding, where my role is to help guide clients down the path they choose to follow. I also provide options or possible techniques an individual may feel is useful in a given situation, or vice versa, where we examine current behaviors that are not helpful. To do so requires a client’s freedom to speak openly and the need to feel supported in their journey to wellness.
